Who is Bikefix Beeston?

My name is James. I set up Beeston Bikefix as an alternative way to get your bike serviced in my area.

I’m an avid cyclist with a fascination in how bicycles work. In 2015 I started volunteering at Lichfield: Recycle, a charity set up to support and influence people in the tiny city of Lichfield to get out on their bikes. We would take donations of bikes from the local area, fix them up, and donate them to people who could benefit from having a bicycle on a free long term loan. The charity still exists, and although I’ve left the area, I still get over there from time to time to help with maintenance and events.
